Ms Nishat Quddus is currently pursuing her PhD from Jamia Hamdard. Her PhD research is on “Effect of Exercise on Foot Posture, Ankle Muscle Strength, range of Motion, Balance and Functional Performance in middle age Versus old age adults with Type 2 Diabetes. She also designed a common curriculum for both U.G and P.G physiotherapy courses as a member of Curriculum Task Force Committee, nominated by Govt of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in 2014. She also served as an official physiotherapist in the Common Wealth Games, India 2010.

Prof. (Dr.) R.K Sharma, a distinguished figure in the field of occupational therapy, brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise. Having served as the former Head of Department at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, he now contributes his invaluable knowledge to the Santosh Group of Institutions. Dr. Sharma's contributions to research are profound, particularly in pioneering the development of Evaluation of Functional Percentage Disability tailored specifically for Indian conditions. His role as a Co-investigator in the ICMR-sponsored research project from 1981 to 1983 led to the creation of a disability evaluation method now widely utilized by WHO and across India. Notably, Dr. Sharma's innovative spirit led him to patent a groundbreaking wheelchair design in 2021. His dedication to advancing the field is evident through a plethora of national and international publications in rehabilitation. Over the years, Dr. Sharma has been duly recognized for his outstanding contributions, including receiving the Occupational Therapy Professional Excellence Award from AIOTA in 1993 and being honored as a Fellow of the Academic Council of Occupational Therapy (FACOT) in 1994. He served as the President of AIOTA for four consecutive terms from 1994 to 2002 and has held various esteemed positions such as Editor of the Indian Journal of Occupational Therapy (IJOT) and Dean of the Academic Council of Occupational Therapy. Dr. Sharma's influence extends beyond his professional achievements; he actively contributes to shaping education standards and policies as the Chairman of the Committee of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Council, Delhi Government, among other significant roles.
